KING's Solution Hosts Webinar on Low Pressure Molding (LPM) Technology for Waterproof Electronic Applications

KING's Solution, a leading provider of innovative green injection molding solutions, recently hosted a webinar titled "Green Highway to Waterproof Life: Low Pressure Molding (LPM) in Electronic Applications." The event was hosted by Josie Chen and Sheila Su, Executive Director of KING's Solution, and focused on the company's expertise in LPM technology and its applications in creating sustainable, low-carbon, waterproof electronic products.

The webinar began by introducing KING's Solution's commitment to lean manufacturing and Industry 4.0 technologies, showcasing their smart machines that can complete injection molding, assembly, and testing in a single cycle. Sheila Su then delved into the specifics of LPM, a material developed in Germany in the 1970s that offers numerous advantages over traditional epoxy potting methods.

LPM utilizes bio-based, recyclable materials derived from plant-based seed oils, making it an eco-friendly alternative to non-recyclable and non-degradable epoxy resins. Compared to epoxy potting, which requires at least half a day of curing time, this technology enables faster production times, with cycles completing within 2 minutes. Additionally, LPM allows for selective coverage of PCBs, reducing material consumption and resulting in lighter end products.

Sheila Su demonstrated the LPM process using a video of KING's Solution's machines, highlighting their key components and the seamless insertion, mold closing, and removal of parts. The webinar also compared LPM with traditional potting methods, illustrating the advantages of the former in terms of adhesion, cycle time reduction, and cost-effectiveness.

KING's LPM technology has been applied in various industries, including automotive, consumer electronics, and medical devices. The company has successfully implemented solutions for waterproof USB cables, military-grade sensors, fiber optic connectors, and satellite connectors for their customers. These case studies showcase the versatility and reliability of KING's Solution's products.

The webinar also showcased KING's range of LPM machines designed to meet different market requirements. The company offers standard models suitable for non-CE countries and customized machines that comply with local safety regulations in the United States and Latin America. For example, the C-type machine, which features a dual-button design, has garnered attention for its ability to significantly reduce operation time and increase productivity.

KING's commitment to safety and quality is reflected in their CE certification, which they have held for over six years. This certification ensures that their machines meet the highest safety standards for export to Europe and the United States.

KING's webinar on LPM technology demonstrated their production expertise in waterproof electronic products. By focusing on eco-friendly materials, efficient production processes, and customized solutions, the company is well-prepared to support customers in developing innovative and reliable products across various industries. As they continue to expand their global business, KING's Solution remains dedicated to pushing the boundaries of molding technology and delivering exceptional value to their customers.
