KING's Presents LPM SmartEdge Breakthrough, Earns High Praise from Industry and Government

With smart manufacturing and net-zero carbon goals reshaping the industry, how can Taiwan's machinery sector stay ahead? As a leader in low-pressure injection molding, KING's Solution delivered a compelling answer.

On November 26, during the "Smart Manufacturing Equipment Promotion Program" presentation hosted by the Industrial Development Administration, KING's CEO Charles Hsu gave a keynote on the company's latest results with the LPM SmartEdge desktop injection machine. The session drew wide attention and became the highlight of the event.

Smart Manufacturing Direction Recognized by Industry, Government, and Associations

After the presentation, Charles was approached by representatives from the Plastics and Fluid Power Associations, along with officials from the Industrial Development Administration. Their feedback confirmed that the LPM SmartEdge not only aligns with national strategy but also responds to real needs in the field.

“The officials were very pleased and gave highly positive feedback,” shared the project lead from PMC (Precision Machinery Research & Development Center), highlighting KING's impact in the government-supported program.

CEO Leads by Example, Embodying the Green Solution Vision

“We joined this project a year ago because it perfectly fits our brand vision: Green Solution, Machine Soulmate,” said Charles.

Instead of focusing solely on production like traditional manufacturers, Charles took on the role of enabler. Over the past six months, he earned two certifications: iPAS "AI Application Planner" and TÜV "ISO 14067 Carbon Footprint Verifier", helping to build KING's internal knowledge system. This now supports services ranging from hardware R&D and energy control to carbon auditing and sustainability consulting.

With a Clear Vision, Strong Partnerships Follow

Charles closed the presentation by quoting Mencius: “Those who walk the right path will be aided by many,” echoing a recent speech by Vice President Hsiao Bi-khim in the European Parliament. “When we have a clear path and ambition, the world really does come together to support us,” he said.

The LPM SmartEdge success wasn't achieved alone. In addition to long-time support from PMC, the collaboration with COMOSS ELECTRONIC CO., LTD on sustainable processing brought strong synergy. “Thanks to the IDA, PMC, Chung Yuan Christian University, Chien Hsin University of Science and Technology, and our supply chain partners—this is a result of people united by ambition and shared values,” Charles said. He added that the same technology will be extended to other injection molding models next year.
